DAC Australasian Chapter

A not-for-profit organisation covering the Australasian region in terms of support and operations. This is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) effective 26th May 2025. The primary aim of this chapter is to support the development of children and youth with disabilities.

This chapter is instrumental in planning and organising projects and events across the Australasian region to enhance the development of children and youth with disabilities.

We support the empowerment of differently abled children and youth

DAC Australasian Chapter Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) for the support and development of differently abled children and youth.  This organisation is aimed at creating and nurturing avenues to enhance the development of such children and youth, working in sync with DAC.

DAC Australasian Chapter Ltd is a Public Benevolent Institution endorsed to access the following tax concessions:

  • GST Concession (Effective from 26 May 2025)

  • Income Tax Exemption (Effective from 26 May 2025)

  • FBT Exemption (Effective from 26 May 2025)

DAC Australasian Chapter Ltd is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) from 26 May 2025. It is covered by Item 1 of the table in section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

The DAC Australasian Chapter is happy to share the success of the fundraising charity event named ‘MCube Sydney’ on 13th July 2025. This was a public-initiated event during the ‘Meet & Greet with Muthukad’ which happened in Sydney on 06th May 2025 at Pendle Hill, NSW.

The significance of Art and Culture-Based interventions for the empowerment of children with special needs is proven. Art is closely associated with culture, and access to cultural life is a human right that benefits individuals, families, communities, and societies.

M-cube Sydney: Music, Motivation & Magic

‘M-cube Sydney’ took a three-dimensional approach to activating Sydneysiders' minds using Music, Motivation, and Magic. At M-cube Sydney, the event participants enjoyed magical illusions and world-class motivational tips from the legendary Gopinath Muthukad, along with soul-stirring music by Swetha Ashok, Athul Narukara, and Vishnu Ashok.

The event was on Sunday, 13th July 2025. Time: 4:30 PM (for a 5:00 PM start).

Venue: Bowman Hall, Blacktown, NSW, Australia

This fundraising charity event was aimed to bring together the Sydneysider community in support of Different Art Centre (DAC), especially for the new centre in Kasargod, Kerala, which is under construction. The profit from the ‘M-cube Sydney’ event will go directly towards development of the new DAC in Kasaragod, Kerala, India.

Magic and Motivational Workshop for Children

A Magic and Motivational Workshop for Children led by the renowned Magician and Motivational Speaker Gopinath Muthukad happened in the second week (NSW School Holidays) of July 2025 in Western Sydney
